AmazonのQRコード決済がなんだか面倒くさそうなんだけど・・・

Amazonのアカウントと連携する決済サービス「Amazon Pay」が、8月29日より実店舗で利用できるようになるそうです。

利用時には、Amazonのショッピングアプリのメニューから「プログラムと特典」→「すべてを見る」→「Amazon Pay」をタップするとQRコードを表示できる。
　
店舗側では、金額を入力してから、このQRコードを、店舗スタッフが専用アプリを使って読み取れば決済できることになる。

　
　
QRコード決済って、お店側に表示されているQRコードを専用アプリで読み込むことで決済できるという感じのものかと思ってましたがこれは違うんですね。
スマホで専用アプリを起動して、タップしてタップしてタップして、そこに表示されたQRコードを、お店側の端末で読み込むことで決済完了？
なんて面倒な手順なんだ！
モバイルSuicaや楽天EDYの便利な決済に慣れてしまったおとうさんは、専用アプリを起動って言う時点でもう使う気にならないのに、さらにお店の端末で読み込んでもらわないといけないなんて、、、
これは流行らない気がする。

セキュリティ問題の対処を含んでいるので、Joomla!ご利用者はなるべく早いアップデートをお勧めです。
　
それにしても、１ヶ月ほど前のバージョン3.8.11をなぜ見逃していたんだろう？？？
と思いましたが、今日受けたメールをもう一度見返してみると・・・

Your site has discovered that there is an updated version of Joomla! available for download.

Joomla! version currently installed: 3.8.10
Joomla! version available for installation: 3.8.11

　
つまり、3.8.11が出たよと言うメールを受けて、3.8.11にアップデートしようと思ってサイトを見に行ったら3.8.12が出ていて、3.8.11のリリースノートを見たら7/31に出ていたというわけです。
なんで今頃3.8.11のメールが来たんだろう？
