TwitterやFacebookに同時投稿可能な写真付きミニブログサービス「Twitxr」が9月30日でサービス終了だそうです。

we have a sad announcement to make: Twitxr is shutting down.

Although Twitxr was one of the pioneers of today’s picture sharing services, it never quite got out of its status as a side project. After seeing our number of active users declining steadily over the past months, shutting down our service was inevitable sooner or later.

If you are wondering what’s going to happen to all your uploaded pictures, we have devised a simple way for you to download all of them in one zip file. Just follow this link: http://twitxr.com/download_user_photos/ (you need to be logged in with your Twitxr account). You still have until the 30th of September to download your files, after that date Twitxr (and your content) will no longer be available.

2008年2月に登録して見たものの、携帯からの書き込み時は日本語はダメだったので、それっきりになっていました。
でも、今見ると、携帯からの投稿も日本語がちゃんと表示されていますね。
いつかわかりませんが、改善されていたんですね。

登録時にはキャプチャーをとってなかったので、一応記念に撮っておきます。
